Be part of something bigger with Burke by Joining Our Movement! We’re looking for Seasonal Associates to work in a variety of roles and be part of our great team! Positions available on third shift! What Moves You? We’re not going to lie; this is an amazing opportunity. It requires hard work, a lot of innovation and enthusiasm and, of course, an abundance of Purple Passion (def. a love of play, bringing play to communities and specific love of Burke and those you work with)! What you'll do - This role helps us deliver high-quality play and playground equipment correct and on-time to communities around the world by working in a variety of roles from Shipping and Receiving to Manufacturing. Summer employees would work in departments such as Paint Line, Warehouse, Router, Assembly, Welding/Metal Finishing, and Machine Shop or any other departments as assigned. Employees can begin work when available in May or early June and work through end of August or beginning of September. Full time third shift factory work hours vary depending on the department assigned. Overtime is available, but not required. Must be 18 years of age to work on certain machines and equipment. Production experience is not required. We provide on-the-job training. Physical Requirements This position keeps you moving and involves physical labor. While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly required to walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel and be able to reach with your hands and arms. On a regular basis, we will need you to be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
