Our repair shop plays a vital role in serving our community, and we want you to be part of our team! If you have experience with string instruments, we'd love to speak with you! Our Band Instrument Repair Assistants clean and refurbish returned and new instruments to get ready to rent or sell. This is a temporary position and will be located at our Operations Center in Hanover, PA. We would like to hire someone for December through March, working daytime hours during the week. We are looking for someone who can work 3-5 days per week. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Thoroughly clean instrument, mouthpiece, and case. Identify any repairs or adjustments that need to be made to the instrument. Improve cosmetic appearance of instrument. Examine case and repair/replace as necessary. Replace included accessory items in case. Restock in warehouse once prep is completed. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Band instrument playing experience a plus but not necessary. On the job training provided.
