Job Summary: Delivers items by preparing, loading, unloading, operating, and cleaning a truck; developing and assisting sales; maintaining records. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Prepare truck for operation by inspecting general condition; checking fluid levels and tire pressure; obtaining or scheduling required repairs; and validating adherence to road-ability standards. * Load truck by ordering, placing, and securing items. * Deliver items by identifying destinations; establishing route; operating the truck; unloading items; and maintaining schedule. * Obtain payment by accepting cash or checks. * Maintain safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organizational operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations; clean truck exterior and interior. * Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. * Hours can range Monday-Friday with occasional OT. Saturday work possible.
