POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Seasonal Clinical Assistant Volunteer to join our team for a limited term placement. This volunteer role is ideal for students or individuals interested in gaining firsthand experience in a clinical or mental health care setting.
Working under the supervision of licensed clinical professionals, the volunteer will support day-to-day administrative and non-clinical operations to ensure smooth functioning of client appointments, documentation processes, and overall client care experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Interest in healthcare, psychology, social work, or related fields
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Previous volunteer or administrative experience is an asset
• Must be 18 years or older
• Current CPR/First Aid certification is an asset

• Greet clients and assist with check-in procedures
• Support clinicians with administrative tasks (e.g., filing, appointment reminders, preparing materials)
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold clinic privacy policies (HIPAA/PIPEDA compliance)
• Help organize and maintain a clean, welcoming clinic environment
• Assist in scheduling, data entry, and electronic records management (as appropriate)
• Shadow clinical staff (if permitted and appropriate) for educational purposes
