Overview Join us in empowering people and saving wildlife. As a Seasonal Dining Room Attendant supporting The Wilds, you’ll help create a welcoming guest experience while contributing to an organization dedicated to conservation, education, and exceptional hospitality. Responsibilities Guest Service & Hospitality Greet guests and provide all guests with prompt, friendly service including assistance with kiosks, if needed. Learn about the Wilds and its species to accurately answer guest questions. Prepare and sell coffee and alcohol. Oversee Frontline grab and go items, make sure items are paid for and remain stocked. Food Safety, Cleanliness & Operational Support Learn and follow ServSafe guidelines to ensure safe and sanitary food environment. Maintain work areas, including restocking, inventory management, and cleaning front area of frontline, Overlook dining room, and the deck space. Adhere to Responsible Alcohol Policy guidelines. Check Frontline closers list to ensure it has been completed, in the absence of the Food and Beverage Manager, Coordinator and Lead. Assist with setting up and taking down Sunset and Sunrise Buffets as needed and ensure checklist is complete. Help with camp and catering dishes including Sunrise and Sunset Buffets as needed. Teamwork, Communication & Mission Support Provide support for other Visitor Operations and Park roles as needed. Maintain open communication with the Area Lead, Kitchen Coordinator, and Food and Beverage Manager. Work collaboratively with other departments and coworkers to ensure seamless operations. Stive to further the mission of the Wilds and support the Zoo, Zoombezi Bay, and Safari Gulf Club. Qualifications Certifications & Requirements ServSafe certified (If needed, will train before starting). Must be at least 21 years old. Customer Service & Professionalism Customer service and sales experience preferred. Positive, professional attitude with a strong commitment to excellent guest service, with strong interpersonal skills. Effective communication skills. Work Environment & Adaptability Ability to adapt easily to a fast-paced work environment. Strong decision-making skills and problem-solving skills. Ability to work a two-way radio. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to Plan and organize work efficiently. Preferred Skills Bar tending skills preferred.
