Overview Worlds of Fun is seeking detail-oriented and reliable Seasonal Finance Clerks to support our Finance Department during the operating season. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy of the park’s daily financial operations—including revenue reporting, bank reconciliations, and supporting full time Finance team members. Seasonal Finance Associates will participate in a weekend rotation and assist with coverage during peak operational periods. Responsibilities Daily Revenue & Banking Complete daily revenue reporting for all park operating units, including admissions, retail, food & beverage, and attractions. Perform daily bank reconciliations, ensuring all deposits, variances, and cash room activity are accurately recorded. Identify and report discrepancies in revenue, system data, or cash handling to the Finance Manager. Support of Full‑Time Finance Team Assist with administrative, clerical, data entry, and financial tasks as needed. Support internal control functions such as scanning, filing, daily packet processing, and audit documentation. Provide backup to other seasonal team members as needed. Weekend Operational Rotation Participate in a weekend rotation schedule to support daily operational finance needs. Complete weekend revenue reporting and bank reconciliation tasks in alignment with park procedures. Communicate any operational issues to the full‑time leadership team. Qualifications Required Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and efficiently. Comfort working with numbers, spreadsheets, and financial data. Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information. Availability to work weekends, holidays, and variable hours based on park needs - Nights and weekends availability required. On-site presence required at Worlds of Fun. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in cash handling, accounting, finance, banking, or auditing roles. Familiarity with Excel or other basic reporting tools. Coursework in Accounting, Finance, or Business (current students encouraged to apply). Experience working in theme parks, attractions, hospitality, or retail environments.
