Description Golf Course Technician (Seasonal) Country Club of York (CCY) The Country Club of York (CCY) is seeking dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individuals to join our Green & Grounds team for the 2026 golf season. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in maintaining beautiful spaces, and thrive in a team-oriented environment. While prior landscaping or golf course experience is beneficial, we place greater value on reliability, work ethic, and a positive attitude than on technical experience. Anticipated Start Date: These seasonal positions are expected to begin in March or April 2026, weather and operational needs permitting. Why Choose CCY? Ideal candidates demonstrate: Reliability, accountability, and punctuality Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn equipment, processes, and safety standards Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs. and remain active throughout the day Availability for early morning shifts, weekends, and seasonal scheduling Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation What You’ll Do Assist with daily golf course setup including tees, greens, and fairways Operate and maintain equipment such as walk-behind and riding mowers Perform bunker maintenance, string trimming, edging, and rotary mowing Complete debris removal and general grounds maintenance Maintain clubhouse grounds and surrounding areas Assist with trash removal, cooler setup, and special projects as needed Follow all safety procedures and communicate any issues to leadership Perform other appropriate duties as assigned Schedule Overview March, April, October, November: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. May through September: 5:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Monday–Friday with rotating weekend shifts (early mornings) About CCY Established in 1899, the Country Club of York is the leading-edge club in the community, with state-of-the-art facilities to provide an enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.
