Description
      The Minot Park District is hiring seasonal groundskeepers at Corbett Field for the 2026 season.  All crew members will be responsible for the preparation of the playing field and related activities associated with Corbett Field.  Applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends and some holidays depending on the game schedule.  Though prior grounds keeping experience is preferred, candidates without experience will be considered if they are enthusiastic and reliable. Primary responsibilities include: * Performing field and facility prep before, during and after practices, games and events. * Operating and maintaining all equipment in a safe manner. * Cleaning and upkeep of restrooms, locker rooms, shop, stadium and grounds.  * Operate a variety of equipment including mowers, trimmers, groomers, paint machines, blowers, light duty vehicles and tools. * Perform general grounds maintenance. * Other duties as assigned, requested or required. Minimum Qualifications: * Must be 16 years of age. * Must have a valid North Dakota Driver's License. * Ability to move 50 lbs. and perform moderate to heavy physical labor. * Ability to operate and use power tools and equipment.  * Ability to work in various weather conditions including hot/cold temperatures. * Ability to work with other team members or alone. * Successful completion of required background check.
