Seasonal Group Sales Representative  Under the general supervision of the Travel Trade Sales Coordinator and within established policies, procedures and guidelines to perform a variety of sales related duties.  The individual will provide excellent customer service working in a fast-paced environment servicing a high volume of customers through answering inquiries from group clients and internal Niagara Parks operations. Niagara Parks offers an hourly rate of $27.50/hr to $33.80/hr for this position.  Applications for this position will be accepted until January 23, 2026. This position is on-site in Niagara Falls, Ontario and is available to fill an existing vacancy. QUALIFICATIONS: * Completion of a College Diploma in Tourism/Hospitality or the equivalent knowledge and experience.  * Possession of the Niagara Parks Park License, considered to be an asset.  * Excellent typing skills and proficient use of Microsoft Office, Windows-based software, Outlook and internet applications.  * Bilingualism in another language, preferably French, Spanish or Mandarin, would be assets. * At least two (2) years of experience working with travel trade, group tour operators, business events, MICE (meeting, incentive, convention, exhibition), SMERF (social, military, educational, religious and fraternal groups) and a variety of other group organizers, plus one year on the job.  * Exemplary sales and customer service skills including: communication/interpersonal skills both oral and written.  * Problem solving skills and ability to perform duties with a strong attention to detail.   * Experience with Accesso ticketing systems considered an asset.  * Time-management and organization skills.  * Proven commitment and ability to multi-task in a high-pressure sales and service environment.   * Ability to exercise tact, courtesy in a professional manner. KEY ACTIVITIES: * Responds to group sales enquiries via telephone, e-mail, and fax in a timely manner and books accurately in reservation systems.   * Upsells all products and services to achieve and exceed team sales targets. * Conducts prospecting calls to new and existing groups. * Assist in booking Marketing and Media FAMs. * Performs all related activities to making Niagara Parks reservations, including processing, reconfirming group dining reservations, closing and following up through to arrival of group with various Niagara Parks departments.  * Provides support to sales team (i.e. Sales kits, booking FAM tours, brochure fulfilment, ticket order processing and customer mail-outs). * Liaises with and confirms availability with various Niagara Parks attractions, restaurants and other Niagara Parks sites through the computer reservation systems and by email and telephone. * Analyzes individual problems and takes appropriate action with clients to ensure that customers service needs are met if not exceeded.  * Problem solving between internal departments and sales department to ensure smooth customer service. * Retrieves, compiles and summarizes departmental sales data to monitor sales productivity and customer behaviour against established goals. * Ensures accuracy of customer profiles and customer data on an on-going basis by updating the reservation systems and customer data base.  * Updating and maintaining a variety of tour operator lists and reports and notifying appropriate Niagara Parks locations of any changes.  * Completes weekly and monthly sales reports and distributes to the Senior Manager, Sales. * Populate Monthly Sales Revenue Generation Report. * Assists sales team with ongoing sales analysis, research projects and forecasting. * Assist with proofing marketing materials. * Provides Sales Managers with client past sales and payment history and potential future business if company has requested credit approval for direct billing.  * Manages special projects / assignments as required. * Respects and complies with all policies and procedures. Business Events & MICE Activities. * Book business events dining groups of 50 people or less including collecting deposits and arranging final payment by credit card.  * Ensures all information regarding each group is communicated and sent to proper department/venues in order to facilitate proper handling and servicing of each group. * Books business events, attractions, VIP tours and WEGO Charters.  * Maintains hard file system and database for accounts and tracks to complete detailed follow-up once signed contract and deposit have been received.  * Reserve business events Falls Illumination special colour requests.  * Processes and coordinates signed MICE contracts for deposits, special requests and final payment. * Liaise with Niagara Parks venues to review and confirm all event details including (BEO) banquet event order agreement and actual event revenue. Performs Other Related Duties * Must be willing and able to work variable shifts as required and schedule to fulfill the requirements of the seven-day operations.  * Assist Support with Trade show registrations and booth décor arrangements. * Assist with Wedding and Social Event bookings, WEGO Charters, Musket Demonstrations and Illumination tower colour requests * As assigned.
