OVERVIEW
SFFILM is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Seasonal Individual Giving Assistant Manager to support our Development team during a busy fundraising period that includes year-end giving campaigns and the 2025 SFFILM Awards Night. This temporary, full-time role will assist with donor communications, stewardship, and event support, ensuring a seamless experience for our Patron-Level donors ($2,500+) and individual giving community.
The ideal candidate is proactive, deadline-driven, and comfortable balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, database familiarity, and enthusiasm for SFFILM’s mission are essential.
Application Review will begin September 15, but will be rolling after that until filled. SFFILM currently supports a hybrid-remote schedule, with an average of 3 days a week in the San Francisco offices, as well as time onsite throughout the Bay Area supporting SFFILM events. This position is required to be based in the Bay Area and is expected to be available to be onsite as needed, leading up to and during our 2025 Doc Stories program (November 6 – 9, 2025) and SFFILM Awards night (December 8, 2025). All staff are expected to work in accordance with in-office requirements as determined by organization-wide and department policies. Some night and weekend availability is expected.
Starting compensation for the position is $25-$26/hr depending on experience, with occasional overtime as assigned by the Director of Development.
