As a bartender at The Palm Springs Surf Club, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality cocktails, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and ensuring that every guest has an unforgettable experience. Key Responsibilities Prepare and Serve Drinks and Dishes: Mix, garnish, and serve beverages according to recipes and customer preferences, with a focus on high-quality cocktails, craft beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, serve menu items, upsell add-ons. Customer Service: Greet guests with a friendly and approachable demeanor, engage in conversation, and ensure an enjoyable and memorable experience. Maintain Bar Area: Keep the bar area clean, well-stocked, and organized. Clean glasses, utensils, and equipment regularly, and ensure the bar is stocked with all necessary supplies. Check IDs and Ensure Responsible Service: Verify the legal drinking age of customers and ensure compliance with all alcohol-related laws and regulations. Handle Payments: Accurately process cash, credit card, and other forms of payment, and issue receipts to customers. Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and quick service. Promote Specials and Events: Inform guests about drink specials, upcoming events, and promotions, contributing to the overall atmosphere of the venue. Handle Customer Concerns: Address any customer concerns or complaints with a positive attitude and find solutions to resolve issues efficiently. Restock and Inventory: Assist in tracking inventory levels, restocking bar supplies, and managing drink orders to maintain stock levels. . Requirements Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2 years of bartending experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Skills: Knowledge of classic cocktails and modern mixology techniques. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal. Ability to multi-task in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy kegs or boxes, and work in a fast-paced environment.
