Position Type: Seasonal / Summer Primary Focus: Junior instruction & summer camps (Tennis & Pickleball) Ages Coached: 4–18 Position Overview We are seeking an energetic, reliable Seasonal Junior Tennis Professional to work primarily on court with junior players ages 4–18. This role focuses on junior summer camps that include both tennis and pickleball, emphasizing skill development, movement, teamwork, and fun in a safe and engaging environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with kids of all ages and abilities, brings positive energy to the court, and can confidently introduce and coach both tennis and pickleball in a camp setting. Key Responsibilities * Lead and assist junior instruction for players ages 4–18 in tennis and pickleball * Coach daily junior summer camps, including warm-ups, drills, games, and match play * Teach basic to intermediate pickleball skills as part of multi-sport camp programming * Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment * Maintain player safety and manage groups effectively on court * Communicate clearly with campers, parents, and fellow staff * Set up and break down courts, nets, and equipment * Support player development while keeping sessions fun and age-appropriate * Represent the club professionally at all times Qualifications * Playing and/or teaching experience in tennis; pickleball experience preferred * Strong on-court presence and ability to engage young players * Experience working with children in a camp or instructional setting * Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented * CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain) * USTA, PTR, USPTA, or pickleball certification preferred but not required Schedule * Primarily weekday daytime hours during the summer season * Some early mornings and extended camp hours required What We Offer * Competitive seasonal compensation * High-volume on-court coaching experience * Supportive team environment * Opportunity to work within a growing junior tennis and pickleball program
