Job Description As a Kitchen Steward, you are responsible for executing a range of essential duties that ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. These duties include but are not limited to: Operate an industrial dishwasher (sort, stack, load, unload) Ensure dishes, glasses, cutlery, utensils, silverware required are clean and available for use Store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner Transport food & supplies from the storeroom & kitchen to designated areas Ensure all breakages and chipped items are reported & removed from circulation and inventoried Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times and correct equipment and chemicals are used Assist with set-up and break down of service areas for service and functions Cleaning of stoves, ovens, grills, refrigerators & using necessary cleaning solutions and tools Maintain a healthy, clean and safe work environment Qualifications Positive attitude Good communication skills Ability to work under pressure Ability to work on their own or in teams Police certificate of character Ability to work on weekends and bank holidays Additional Information WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU: - Learning programs through our Academies - Opportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world! - Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
