The Lifeguard is responsible for maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for members and guests using the outdoor pool facilities. This role involves actively monitoring pool areas, enforcing safety rules, responding to emergencies, and providing excellent customer service while ensuring all safety and operational standards are followed. Key Responsibilities Monitor all pool areas to ensure the safety of members and guests. Enforce all pool rules, policies, and safety procedures. Identify and respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations. Perform water rescues, administer first aid, CPR, or AED as needed. Conduct routine safety checks of pool areas and equipment. Assist with pool maintenance, including chemical level checks. Maintain a clean and organized pool deck and surrounding areas. Provide courteous and professional service to members and guests. Assist with opening and closing duties of the pool facility. Report accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions to management promptly. Participate in required safety drills, trainings, and staff meetings. Other job duties as assigned. Qualifications Current Lifeguard Certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire. Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire. Strong swimming and water rescue skills. Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays. Background check and drug screen required. Qualifications
