Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Machine Operator I at S&S Activewear is a fast paced physically demanding position responsible for multiple tasks throughout the warehouse including the operation of different machinery such as the cherry picker and stock chaser for restocking, retrieving, and reviewing of inventory from both the floor locations and up-stock storage areas. They are responsible for delivering product to the designated area for PopPick processing and/or shipment, as well as run quality control assessments on product prior to shipping.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Efficiently & accurately retrieve and stage product in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity.
Operate machinery including the cherry picker, pallet jacks, and stock chasers. (requires certification)
Follow & commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, & efficiency.
Report and record any discrepancy, damaged items, shortages, or unidentified packages to supervisor.
Perform inventory counts and reconciles any discrepancies.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution Center.
Follows all SOPs, safety rules, and regulations.
Acts professionally and remains focused – contributing to a culture and environment focused on a safe working environment.
Performs other duties as assigned and be willing to cross train (may be required to do tasks that fall into warehouse associate 1 & 2).
