    Job Description

We are seeking a Seasonal Material Handler to join our dynamic team in Edmonton, Canada. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient movement and organization of materials within our warehouse facility during our peak season.

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, store, and retrieve materials
  • Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets accurately and safely
  • Perform inventory counts and update inventory management systems
  • Organize and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Assist in preparing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines
  • Follow all safety procedures and report any potential hazards or incidents
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
  • Valid forklift certification (preferred)
  • Proficiency in operating material handling equipment
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly
  • Excellent time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
