In this hands-on role, you’ll represent our brand in grocery stores by stocking, rotating, and organizing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while providing excellent customer service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and being part of a supportive team. Merchandisers are provided a company phone to track hours, mileage, and communicate with leaders and teammates. What You’ll Do: Merchandise cases, bottles, and cans of beer and non-alcoholic beverages Travel using your personal vehicle to service major grocery chain accounts Move product from backstock or delivery pallets to shelves and displays Build and maintain product displays to increase sales Stock coolers, shelves, and floor displays Use manual equipment (pallet jack, hand truck, cart, U-boat) Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized Accurately track time and mileage Communicate regularly with your Team Lead and Manager Provide professional, friendly customer service What We’re Looking For: Must be 18 years of age or older Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a good driving record Comfortable using a smartphone and learning iOS/Microsoft apps Able to work independently and manage daily priorities Reliable, professional, and customer-focused Able to work at least 6-8 weeks between May-September Physical Requirements: Lift/carry up to 35 lbs frequently Push/pull up to 100 lbs (with the help of equipment) Stand and walk for most of the shift Bend, stoop, crouch, and regularly use hands and arms Why Work for Maletis: Weekends Off Paid holidays Employee discounts on beverages and apparel Stable, consistent work About Maletis: Maletis Beverage is a local, 4th generation, family-owned beverage distributor that was founded in 1935.
