Position Summary The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining and ensuring exceptional cleanliness of all public areas at Eldorado Resort. Hours 10:30pm - 7:00am (night shift) What will you be doing? You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard: Maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the public areas of the hotel to enhance the guest experience (clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, washrooms, elevators, stairways, meeting rooms, laundry room, pool areas, offices, and other workspaces) Restock and maintain lobby washrooms and amenity rooms daily Respond to guest/housekeeping requests in a timely and efficient manner Vacuum rugs, furniture, and/or draperies using vacuum cleaners and/or steamers Empty wastebaskets, empty and transport other trash and recyclables to disposal areas Dust and polish furniture in main areas Polish silver accessories and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings Wash windows, walls, ceiling, and woodwork as necessary Maintain parking lots (sweep, rake leaves, remove the garbage, empty ashtray) Remove any garbage, recyclables, and empty beverage containers from the laundry room Identify and report preventative and other maintenance issues in public areas Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation Carry out lost and found procedures Assist other departments wherever necessary Other duties as required What are we looking for?
