Description Position Summary The Seasonal Office Clerk position will perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to support the daily business activities and efficient operation of the firm during peak seasons such as general electronic and paper filing duties and related clerical duties. This role is temporary and typically aligns with busy periods such as tax season, holiday season or other high-demand times. Seasonal Office Clerks follow organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner. Accuracy and attention to detail is required. This position will run from January to Mid-April. FLSA Status: Non-exempt Requirements Major Duties and Responsibilities Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry and managing correspondence. Copies documents as needed. Retrieve records as requested, or provides information contained in the files, and maintains filing system. Disposes of obsolete files in accordance with established retirement schedule or legal requirements. Assembles tax returns, scans documents, and inputs information into the electronic tracking system. Provide support for administrative team as assigned. Answer phones, greet clients and visitors. Desired Skills, Abilities and Characteristics High school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to maintain confidentiality of firm and client information. Ability to maintain all assigned files so they are current, daily. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Effectively communicate through oral and written means. Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism. Ability to use office equipment including a computer, copier, and printer. Ability to work in a team-work environment.
