Our office is seeking applications for a Seasonal Part-Time Cashier/Administrative Clerk.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing;
  • Ability to provide customer service in person, by telephone, email, and through written correspondence;
  • Ability to prepare and maintain financial reports and records, perform account reconciliations, safeguard documents, and post revenue to the general ledger;
  • Ability to accurately maintain cash drawer and prepare deposits.
  • Specific tasks will be assigned.

This is light work subject to inside environmental conditions. Work requires stooping, bending, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pulling and lifting up to 25 pounds. Vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels. Visual acuity is required for preparing and analyzing written or computer data, determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work and observing general surroundings and activities.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of two years of administrative experience or minimum of Associate’s Degree required.
  • Excellent time management skills required.
  • Cashier experience required.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word required.
  • Proficiency in 10 key adding machine.
  • Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with attention to detail.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Background in accounting or bookkeeping preferred.
  • Knowledge of accounting software preferred.
    Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
    Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
