With a commitment to customer satisfaction we are currently seeking a motivated Seasonal Part Time Cashier for immediate hire. This role is crucial in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers while supporting our operations during peak seasons. Ideal candidates will have a keen eye for detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. Starting wage is $11.50/hr. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service and assistance throughout the shopping experience. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store. Stock shelves and assist in merchandising products as required. Assist customers in locating products and answering their inquiries. Handle cash, credit, and return transactions while adhering to company policies. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow during busy periods. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in retail or customer service role preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturday 9-4. Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

The cashier will be responsible for providing excellent customer service throughout the shopping experience and accurately processing all transactions using the point-of-sale system. Duties also include maintaining the cleanliness of the checkout area, stocking shelves, and assisting customers with product location and inquiries.
