Title: Seasonal Part Time Housekeeping Associate Reports to: House Keeping Manager Position Type: Seasonal, Part-Time, 20 hours a week. 1 weekend day is mandatory with occasional evenings for events. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Housekeeping Associate will be responsible for cleaning services to ensure a clean, safe, and pleasant environment through the Historic Village and Museum Campus. This position will work a variety of shifts including morning, afternoon, and evening shifts during the week and weekends ( not to exceed 25 hours a week). SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to): * Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting a variety of surfaces including original wood floors * Cleaning restrooms, communal meeting spaces, and historic structures containing antiques in a careful and attentive manner. * Washing windows * Trash collection * Washing, drying, and ironing backup when needed. * Maintain cleaning supply closets in an orderly fashion * Observe and notify management of any necessary repairs or replacement of supplies in a timely manner Minimum Qualifications/Working conditions: * Lift up to 40lbs independently or with assistance. * Climbing and transporting supplies up and down stairs regularly. * Bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling necessary to complete cleaning tasks. * Willing to work in a variety of weather conditions and walk up to 1-3 miles daily on uneven terrain at times. * Valid Drivers License to operate golf cart.
