About the job Elephants offers great local foods from scratch every day, and much of that food is prepared (cooked, baked, and packaged) at our Central Production Kitchen. We are a speedy team that is constantly evolving to meet the needs of our stores and customers. We are looking for a Prep Cook who will help break down, dice, julienne, batonnet and paysanne - all our fresh produce and ingredients. You'll get to work with interesting, high-end ingredients while learning the ropes of the production kitchen. You will be following recipes, keeping your space clean and communicating needs to your supervisor! This is a great development opportunity for a prep person looking to grow their career and experience. We love to cross-train eager learners! This position requires a food handlers' card. We are looking for a Food Prep who can: * Demonstrate strong knife skills and be able to prep ingredients. * Thrive in a fast-paced production environment. * Consistently maintain our high standards for quality, customer service, teamwork, food safety, and cleanliness. * Highly aware and extremely thorough in everything you do.
