We are currently recruiting for a Seasonal Receptionist at Fermain Valley Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels. This is a seasonal role with an immediate start until 30th September 2025.
Fermain Valley is a 4 star luxury hotel in Guernsey, with a beautiful cliff top position offering breathtaking views of the Channel Islands. All 49 rooms in this luxury hotel in Guernsey are individually designed to create an air of calm, allowing guests to completely unwind. Our award-winning chefs have created mouth-watering menus for the Rock Garden Steakhouse, Búho and the Terrace. The carefully crafted menus offer something for all tastes. Three of Guernsey’s best restaurants are located at the Fermain Valley Hotel and we’re extremely proud of their popularity with both locals and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • The role of our receptionists is to deliver an exceptional guest experience, by putting the guest at the heart of everything you do, through personalised and thoughtful service with care and attention to detail.
  • You will be expected to demonstrate a high level of engagement with guests throughout their stay to make them feel at home, relaxed, and importantly identify and create magical memories at every possible opportunity.
  • In collaboration with the Front office team you’ll maintain regular and effective communication to ensure a seamless operation, aware of all the days activities.
  • Most of all we will want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team.
