Description Title: Seasonal Recruiter (part-time) March-May and August-October Reports to: Kim Gardner, FlexForce and Recruitment Manager Classification/FSLA Status: Seasonal ($15-$20[SD1] /hr) Contact: Kim Gardner, FlexForce and Recruitment Manager, kgardner@gswrc.org Position Description: A Seasonal Recruiter is responsible for increasing Girl Scout membership within Fayette and surrounding counties by actively engaging with potential members at pre-planned community events (open houses, festivals, etc.) and presentations. This role focuses on promoting the Girl Scout Experience to girls, their families, and potential adult volunteers through direct interaction, engaging activities, and effective communication. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead Recruitment Efforts: · Serve as the primary on-site host for pre-planned in-school and evening recruitment events along with community events that are designed to introduce Girl Scouting to potential new girls and families. Engage Potential Members: · Clearly and enthusiastically communicate the Girl Scout mission, values, and benefits to potential girl and adult members. · Conduct engaging presentations and activities that showcase the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. · Utilize proven recruitment techniques to convert leads into new members. Recruitment Event Execution: · Communicate with full and part-time staff recruitment coordinators to ensure timely follow up after pre-planned recruitment and engagement events. · Assist with event logistics including set-up, materials, and registration. · Generate leads and paid memberships from girls and adults at recruitment events Data Collection and Reporting: · Accurately track event attendance and recruitment outcomes. · Maintain accurate records of leads and new memberships. · Report regularly to the FlexForce and Recruitment Manager regarding completion and success of recruitment events and efforts.
