Positions range from permanent clinical float roles (Full time or Part Time) to Seasonal 13-week assignments with significantly higher base pay. Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements, and documents nursing care Assists physicians during examinations and procedures Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills 21 Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Must have a minimum of two years of related work experience and be deemed competent Licenses/Certifications: Current FL State Nursing license; BLS and ACLS and NIHSS certification required Must be able to work on any unit within the assigned division Must work 3 shifts per week Must work every other weekend Will be required to float to other units at both campuses as needed. (Brooksville & Spring Hill)
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse evaluates assigned patients, plans, implements, and documents nursing care, and assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Responsibilities also include performing various patient tests, administering medications, and teaching patients and families about conditions and self-care.
