Description The Senior Warehouse Worker is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, organization, and preparation of finished goods inventory. Key responsibilities include transferring products between sites, organizing finished goods in the warehouse, picking customer orders, supporting outbound shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. Additionally, this role includes responsibility for operating company trucks to transport materials between facilities and to external partners. The Senior Warehouse Worker is expected to perform all duties with a high degree of accuracy, safety, and professionalism, and to support special projects or offsite transport needs as assigned. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Finished Goods Management & Order Picking · Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move finished goods within facilities. · Transfer finished goods from the manufacturing facility to the warehouse. · Organize and store finished goods inventory in a clean, orderly, and accessible manner. · Pick and stage customer orders accurately according to pick lists or instructions provided. · Load customer orders onto outbound trucks, ensuring pallets are secure and shipments are complete. · Support annual physical inventory counts and periodic cycle counts as needed. · Assist other departments or team members as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor. Warehouse Cleanliness & Maintenance · Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse, staging, and dock areas. · Ensure debris, pallets, packaging, and materials are properly stored or disposed of to support food safety and safety standards. · Perform routine housekeeping tasks as part of daily workflow and assist in maintaining clear and safe traffic lanes. Company Truck Operations · Drive company trucks to pick up ingredients, packaging, and other materials from vendors or suppliers as needed. · Deliver materials to contract manufacturing partners or other off-site locations. · Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles and report any maintenance needs promptly. · Coordinate with the Warehouse Supervisor and Director of Supply Chain to ensure the vehicle remains in good working order and compliant with all registration, inspection, and safety requirements. Requirements SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS · Ability to lift 40 lbs. safely and work on feet for extended periods. · Must work well in a team environment and follow instructions accurately. · Basic computer skills to support scanning, inventory tasks, or documentation. · Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish). · Strong attention to detail and safety practices. · Understanding of FIFO, inventory accuracy, and food safety handling preferred. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS · High school diploma or equivalent. · 10+ years of warehouse, distribution, or stocking experience. · Forklift operation experience required; certification provided if needed. · Valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record required. · Comfortable driving company vehicles for local pickups and deliveries. · Demonstrated reliability and attention to detail in warehouse operations. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT · Continually required to stand, walk, and sit. · Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity. · Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, or kneel. · Continually required to talk or hear. · Regularly works near moving mechanical parts such as delivery trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts. · Regularly required to drive on city streets and freeways in all types of weather and day/night conditions. · Occasionally exposed to extreme heat or cold. · The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud, consistent with a warehouse environment. · Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception and ability to adjust focus. · Occasionally exposed to dust, airborne particles, hazardous materials, and risk of electrical shock. · The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
