Waverley Country Club is currently seeking Server Assistants to join us this summer season. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the dining room, service stations and assisting servers to provide an excellent service. Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, can take direction, and can work well as part of a team. This is a seasonal position starting Mid-May and working through the end of September. Candidates must be available to work evenings, weekends and willing to work flexible hours. The starting pay rate is $18.00 per hour. Waverley is a non-tipping club. In lieu of tips, we offer access to the golf course, use of kayaks and/or paddle boards for the river on Mondays, and meals during scheduled shifts. What you will do Memorizes table and seat numbers Brings water, food and other items to tables as requested Communicates with servers, hosts, and the manager-on-duty as needed to create a successful service Removes dirty glasses, utensils, plates, and glassware from tables Maintains and stocks service stations Clears and resets tables according to dining protocol Upholds cleaning standards in all service areas and as requested by the MOD Assists with moving furniture and resetting rooms during event days Requirements Must be a minimum of 16 years of age. Must be friendly, willing to work in a team environment. Must have a current Food Handlers Card and (OLCC permit if 18 years or older). Must pass company pre-employment background check. Ability to lift 15-30 pounds. Being a server assistant is physical work and this job also requires the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast paced and deadline-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
The server assistant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the dining room and service stations while assisting servers with food and water delivery. They also clear and reset tables according to protocol and assist with event-related furniture movement.
