JOB SUMMARY:

The Assistant Sommelier will be active in all parts of the wine program. The main function of the job is to assist in the selling of wine on the floor, reconciliation of the wine sales and inventory digitally, assisting with the staff education of wine and other tasks that the Head Sommelier may need assistance in.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Certification in the court of Master Sommelier or Advanced WSET Level 3 preferred.
2. Complete knowledge of all classic wine regions and their winemaking styles.
3. Full varietal characteristic knowledge.
4. Certification in alcohol awareness program.
5. Certification of previous training in liquor, wine, and food service.
6. Open availability 7 days a week for the entire 8 month season.
