Evenings and weekends. Benefits Pay starts at minimum of $24+ per game dependent on experience Free staff membership during the baseball/softball season Discount on concessions when you work Other Details: New umpires are trained to officiate at machine-pitch and coach-pitch games for 6-9 year old players. Experienced umpires officiate at games for players 6-15 years old. Requirements Umpires must be at least 15 years of age with a good understanding of baseball and/or softball or interest in learning. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule that includes week day evenings and weekend daytime and evening shifts Works well independently and with of co-workers Punctuality Physical Requirements Physical fitness and stamina to keep up with the pace of the game Constant standing, walking and exposure to the weather outdoors Frequent walking/running, eye/hand/foot coordination, talking and hearing About The J The J is committed to creating a diverse environment.
