Job Description As a waiter, you are expected to deliver prompt, efficient, consistent, professional, and engaging service to all guests. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience. Key expectations include but are not limited to: Provide prompt, efficient, and professional service to all hotel and restaurant guests Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, including prices, preparation processes, and allergen information Complete all mise en place tasks before service, including table setup and side station preparation Take and process food and beverage orders accurately using the point of sale system Clear tables promptly and maintain cleanliness of the restaurant area Handle guest billing and payment processes efficiently Adhere to Health, Hygiene, and Safety standards Perform room service duties as required Assist with special functions setup and breakdown Qualifications Secondary School education: minimum of 3 CXC passes Good oral communication skills Ability to speak a foreign language (particularly French, German, or Italian) is an asset Previous hospitality experience is beneficial but not required Ability to work weekends and bank holidays Additional Information WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU: - Learning programs through our Academies - Opportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world! - Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
