We’re looking for enthusiastic and hardworking people to join our amazing Distribution Team at the Lakeland Distribution Centre in Kendal. As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be helping to get products to our stores and customers quickly, safely, and in perfect condition—just in time for the busiest (and most exciting!) time of the year.

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?

If you have warehouse experience, that’s great! But it’s not essential. What matters to us is that you are reliable, willing to learn and perform the best you can. You may have similar experience or transferrable skills from another job, such as in retail or hospitality.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Salary: £12.21 per hour (18 and over)
Location: Lakeland Distribution Centre, Westmorland Business Park, Gilthwaiterigg Lane, Kendal, LA9 6NW

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Moving products around the warehouse using ride-on trucks and order pickers (full training given).
• Using digital picking lists and scanners to pick items for our retail stores and our Home Shopping department.
• Playing a key part in keeping the warehouse running smoothly and safely.
