JOB DESCRIPTION- WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

The Puppet Company in Hitchin is offering an exciting opportunity to join our friendly, family-owned business during our busiest period, until 23rd December with the possibility to be extended. We are involved in the design, manufacture and sale (retail, online and wholesale) of good quality and affordable puppets and soft toys.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

· Previous Warehouse Experience is essential
· Candidates must be fit to complete manual work
· Candidates must be reliable and punctual

· Receiving, distribution and replenishment of goods in the warehouse
· Picking of goods against fulfilment orders
· Packing orders to the required standard and specification
· Loading/unloading of goods (parcels or pallets) on or off lorries
· Communicating shortages and stock discrepancies efficiently
