Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a forklift, centering loads, maintaining visibility, and following work area speed limits.
  • Regularly load and/or assist in loading trailer with materials, following prescribed weight distributions and capacity limits.
  • Correctly pick orders to build pallets for delivery using a barcode scanner.
  • Actively follow safety procedures for different types of equipment, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Prepare equipment (forklift, shrink wrapping machine, and small yard tractor) for safe operation.
  • Accurately count products to maintain up to date inventory records. Report any discrepancies to assigned leader in a timely manner.
  • At shift end, store equipment in designated areas and take appropriate steps to prepare equipment for next day operation.
  • Perform other duties and assignments to meet operational needs of the business.
