Security team members operate with discipline and vigilance, focusing on observing, mitigating, and interdicting behaviors and interactions inconsistent with our organizations values and goals. Security team members constantly maintain a visible and approachable attitude, in order to meet the needs of our customers and deter unwanted behaviors. The Security team member’s ability to operate both independently and in collaboration with other team members and supporting agencies strengthens our ability to respond to all emergencies, calls for service and guest inquiries. Responsibilities SHIFT Assigned shifts may vary from week to week depending on the needs of the organization, hours of operation, special events, etc. DESCRIPTION Ensure ZB Security team members maintain the highest level of guest and team member safety while in compliance with all departmental and state laws. Patrols grounds during open and closed hours to ensure team members and guest safety. Performs bag searches to ensure Guest Policy compliance. Assist and resolve guest concerns and questions. Assists with, locates and reunites Lost Children per the organization’s Emergency Response Plan. Contacts the appropriate authority and attends to injured team members/guests until medical assistance arrives. Completes incident reports in a detailed, accurate and timely manner. Actively participant participate in the Emergency Response Plan (ERP). Supervises all Zoombezi Bay Security Team Leads and Security Officers. Attend weekly meetings with Security Supervisors. Assist with maintaining weekly labor budget as directed by the Security Manager Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding and training of all Zoombezi Bay Security Officers and Security Team Leads Complete and maintain weekly work schedules for all ZB Security team members Completes Daily Assignments Schedule and ensures all posts are covered by ZB Security Team Members Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications 21 years of age or older. 2 Years as Zoombezi Security Officer serving in a Lead capacity. 2 Years Experience in a position of Leadership with Leadership Experience in a Waterpark preferred. High School diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver’s license with good driving record. CPR, first aid and AED training preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Able to provide excellent guest service by positively interacting with guests and upholding the guest standards required. Able to be alert to potentially abnormal conditions and react according to protocol. Able to maintain appropriate employee appearance (see uniform guidelines at each time clock and the employee handbook). Able to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Able to maintain courteous and professional behavior at all times. Able to successfully pass a criminal background check prior to commencing employment. Able to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner Able to work in varied weather conditions (i.e. extreme heat, humidity, cold, or rain). Able to stand or walk continuously for long periods of time. This position is not eligible for overtime pay. Subject to Drug Free Workplace Policy. Subject to BMV check.
Responsibilities
