Description

Leading UK office furniture designer and manufacturer seeks experienced Production Supervisor to oversee all aspects within our seating division to ensure efficient and timely production of products.

Main Tasks:

  • Leading a team with a hands-on approach to ensure deadlines are met
  • Planning and organisation of production schedules
  • Ensuring quality standards at all times
  • Assessing and planning resource requirements
  • Overseeing production processes and ensuring SOPs adhered to
  • Liaising with other departments

Experience required:

  • Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role within the furniture industry
  • Experience within soft furnishings/upholstery preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Logical approach to planning and problem solving
  • Creative thinking and ability to work on own initiative
  • Customer focussed with a sense of urgency
  • Highly motivated
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Full Time Role
Maximum 45 min commute to Skipton head office
