Aramark Canada is seeking an individual with a passion for customer service interested in pursuing a career in Hospitality, Culinary Management, or Nutrition to join the tam at Second Cup as a Supervisor! Rporting to the Retail Director, the Second Cup SUpervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the franchise location, including the supervision of the front line team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma/Degree in Culinary Management, Hospitality, Nutrition or related field
  • 1-2 years’ experience in the food service industry as a Supervisor
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Strong with prioritization and time management
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Flexible; evening and weekend work may be required

Responsibilities
  • Lead by example and demonstrates the importance of treating every team member, customer and client with respect
  • Train, orients, and monitors new team members
  • Assists in ensuring optimal team member coverage at all times and works various positions during busy periods to maintain optimal service levels through demonstrated floor leadership
  • Monitor staffing levels and report to manager any changes that may be required
  • Monitor completion of front line product labelling, temperature logs, waste logs, and production logs
  • Assist with any onsite promotions and advertising provided by Marketing Manager
  • Ensure cleanliness of operation throughout service
  • Monitor cash handling procedures
  • Handle customer service complaints with assistance from manager with appropriate sense of urgency
  • Other job duties as assigned
