Our Auckland team is looking for experienced and qualified Line Mechanics to join our 2nd response crew. About the role: We are looking for someone who treats safety as a priority and is a great team player! This role involves regular interaction with the public, giving you the perfect opportunity to show exceptional customer service. This is your chance to join a tight-knit team that always has each other’s backs. - Construction and maintenance of electrical lines to customer and Network requirements - Install and replace electricity network pole structure and overhead conductors - Ensure relevant field paperwork, incident reports, inspection documentation, asset information and other relevant paperwork are completed - Repair Or recommend remedial work - Documenting faults and testing - Be mindful, be present, be safe for yourself, workmates, customers, the public, networks, and the environment. About you: We're on the lookout for an experienced Line Mechanic with a proven commitment to safety. In this role, you’ll take on a variety of jobs, working 12-hour rostered shifts, including callouts and weekend work. You’ll need to be confident working independently in the field while also being a dependable team player. To be successful in this role, you will have the following: - NZ Distribution Line Mechanic qualification with a current NZ EWRB Practicing licence - Solid experience as a Line Mechanic and have minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Line Mechanic - A full, clean Class 2 NZ driver’s licence (essential) and Class 4 will be an advantage - A great work attitude and willingness to be part of a diverse team along with a strong focus to health & safety - Effective communication skills and ability to work under minimum supervision What’s in it for you?
