REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Confidence in managing groups of students aged 11–16
• A genuine interest in education and young people
• Previous experience in a school setting (desirable but not essential)
• A flexible and proactive attitude

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lesson plans to students in the absence of the regular class teacher. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
• Supervising pupils during lessons, break times, and transitions between classes
• Delivering lesson content provided by the teaching staff
• Supporting pupils with their learning and maintaining classroom engagement
• Reporting any safeguarding concerns or behavioural incidents
