Job Description Summary This role (all genders) is responsible for the design/manufacturing/testing phases of Automation Systems within EPC HVDC substation projects. This includes working closely with engineering teams, suppliers, customers, sourcing and project managers. Job Description Key Missions This role will have the following key missions: Define the scope and documents necessary to meet customer needs for the Hardware, Software and Configuration of Automations Systems. Establish technical specifications for components and subsystems, supplied by internal partners and external suppliers. Analyze technical proposals received and participate in technical clarifications with equipment suppliers for the Automation Components and the relevant scope of substation systems. Establish basic design, and then detailed drawings in compliance with contractual specifications, using CAD tools in line with company processes. Participate in factory tests of Automation Systems, components and related systems in compliance with contractual technical specifications and project time schedules. Performance Measurements The performance of this role will be measured based on: Quality of design and accuracy of technical specifications. Efficient management of detailed design using CAD tools. Compliance with contractual specifications, project schedules, and budget constraints. Ability to analyze technical proposals, make informed decisions and effectively communicate. Desired Profile The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications and competencies: Graduate from Process Automation school. At least a year of experience in Industrial automation. Basic knowledge of typical substation automated systems: power supply, HVA/C, ancillary services. Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI, Industrial Networks and data protocols. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team with fluent English reading / writing.
