We are urgently seeking a dedicated Secondary ELA (English Language Arts) Teacher to join our international school in China. This is an exciting opportunity to engage and inspire students in their literary exploration and language development. Main Responsibilities: Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans focused on reading, writing, and critical analysis for secondary students. Assess student progress and understanding through various evaluation techniques and provide constructive feedback. Foster a classroom environment that encourages discussion, critical thinking, and a passion for literature. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the curriculum and participate in school activities and professional development. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Education, or a related field. Teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, TEFL) is preferred. A minimum of 2–3 years of experience teaching English Language Arts at the secondary level. Strong understanding of literature and effective teaching methodologies. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
