Egypt Education Platform is excited to announce an opening for a Secondary Math Teacher for the Academic Year 2026-2027 at GEMS British International School Of Madinaty. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire and motivate students while delivering a comprehensive and engaging mathematics curriculum. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver effective lesson plans that meet the requirements of the curriculum for Secondary Mathematics. Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and reinforce their understanding of mathematical concepts. Assess and evaluate student performance, providing timely feedback that supports their academic growth. Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world applications of mathematics in the classroom. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student participation and enthusiasm for mathematics. Communicate regularly with students and parents about academic progress and areas for improvement. Participate in professional development opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices. Support school-wide initiatives and contribute to a cooperative learning community. Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. Teaching qualification with an emphasis on Secondary Education is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Secondary Mathematics. Strong knowledge of curriculum and current educational best practices in mathematics instruction. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building strong relationships with students and parents. A passion for teaching mathematics and a commitment to fostering students' academic growth. Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and collaboration with peers.
