Egypt Education Platform is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Secondary Pastoral Assistant to join our team for the academic year 2026-2027. This role is integral to supporting the well-being and personal development of secondary students, fostering a safe and nurturing school environment. Key Responsibilities: Support the pastoral care program by providing guidance and assistance to students with their social, emotional, and academic challenges. Collaborate with teaching staff, school counselors, and parents to identify and support students’ individual needs. Assist in managing student behavior and promoting positive conduct throughout the school. Help organize and facilitate extracurricular activities, workshops, and initiatives that promote student well-being and personal growth. Maintain accurate records of student welfare concerns and support interventions. Act as a point of contact for students who require pastoral support and liaise with external agencies when necessary. Promote a positive and inclusive school culture that respects diversity and encourages student engagement. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills in pastoral care and student support. Relevant experience in student welfare, pastoral care, or related fields is desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with students, staff, and parents. Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in supporting young people’s well-being and development. Ability to manage confidential information sensitively and professionally. Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Willingness to work collaboratively within a team and within school policies and procedures.
