OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for educating students in various subjects. This role requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a dedication to student success, including those with special educational needs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or Ontario Certificate of Teachers (OCT) in good standing is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of classroom teaching experience is preferred.
  • Outstanding expertise in the specific subject area(s).
  • Strong understanding of the Ontario School Curriculum and the Growing Success Documents.
  • Excellent classroom management, organization, and planning skills.
  • Great communication skills with parents, students and co-workers in a respectful and supportive manner.
  • Experience in using learning technology (Especially Google Workspace, and MS Office).
  • Creative, flexible, innovative and positive approach to teaching.
  • Understand the needs of students and goes beyond the call of duty.
  • Problem solver and solution provider when issues arise.
  • Thrives in a positive team environment and easily adapts to new things.
    Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
    Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 12.5 – 25 per week
