The Role

As a Secondary School Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across your specialist subject area.
• Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with the national curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support pupils' academic progress and personal development.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and wider school staff.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school community.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a UK secondary school setting or recognised overseas teaching qualification with QTS
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Strong subject knowledge
• A passion for teaching and learning
• The ability to inspire, motivate and engage students
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
