We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and resilient Science Teacher to join our dedicated team at a thriving mainstream secondary school in South Shields. This is a full-time role starting in September, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about their subject and confident in managing classroom behaviour to ensure all students can thrive.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The ideal candidate will have a strong presence in the classroom, high expectations of student conduct, and the ability to inspire and motivate learners of all abilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and deliver creative, differentiated English lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils.
• Establish clear boundaries and routines to maintain a focused and respectful classroom environment.
• Use effective behaviour management strategies to support learning and maintain high standards.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Contribute to a supportive and collaborative department, sharing best practices and resources.
• Take part in wider school life, including parent evenings, staff meetings, and CPD.
