Egypt Education Platform is thrilled to announce an immediate hiring opportunity for a Secondary Science Teacher at GEMS British International school of Madinaty . We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic educator who is committed to fostering a love of science in our students and enhancing their understanding of scientific principles through innovative teaching practices. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective science lessons across various disciplines including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for secondary school students. Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities while adhering to the national curriculum. Provide regular assessments and feedback to students, monitoring progress and identifying areas for improvement. Encourage the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills through interactive teaching methods and hands-on laboratory activities. Maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the teaching curriculum and participate in school events and science fairs. Engage in continuous professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest trends in science education. Bachelor’s degree in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field. A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) is preferred. Proven experience in teaching secondary science, with a strong record of improving student outcomes. Strong knowledge of the secondary science curriculum and effective teaching strategies. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated passion for education and inspiring students in science. Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a dynamic school environment.
