Teach195 are working with secondary schools across Nottinghamshire, including Nottingham City, Beeston, Hucknall, Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Ilkeston who are looking for subject specialists to cover long term assignments (Full-time and part-time) in the following subjects:
· English
· Maths
· Science – all specialisms

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

· Hold Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
· A proficient background in the subject to be taught
· Previous UK teaching experience
· Organisation and Time Management skills
· An distinguished understanding and knowledge of safeguarding.
· Create and sustain a secure and positive learning environment (maintaining school rules, uniform policies etc.)
· An enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process a new one
· Driving License preferred but not required
· The ability to effectively manage behaviour using positive strategies and supportive techniques.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for GCSE and A Level students, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards.
  • Foster a positive learning environment through effective communication and behavior management techniques.
  • Provide individualized support for students with special educational needs.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, offering tutoring and additional resources as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
