Please be aware that your home Administration/Agency/Service/Government will be responsible for all of your salary/remuneration, social insurance, pension contributions, welfare benefits, family allowances, benefits during your assignment at INTERPOL as well as travel, removal expenses related to your arrival at and departure from INTERPOL, and any other related costs depending on your circumstances. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION REQUIRED

  • Graduate university degree (i.e. Masters preferably in Technology or related discipline);
  • Certifications if any.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • At least 15 years of management experience at senior level within a national law enforcement agency or an equivalent service;
  • Sound understanding of law enforcement cooperation issues at national and international level;
  • Experience in assessing and developing corporate technology solutions;
  • Experience in planning and managing complex tasks, under minimum supervision;
  • Experience working in an international environment would be highly desirable; either from employment in an international organization or from participating in e.g. international working groups, joint international projects etc.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF THE ASSIGNED DUTIES, INCLUDING GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE POST

The post reports directly to the Secretary General and is based at the INTERPOL Global Center for Innovation (IGCI) in Singapore.
This senior leadership position is responsible for advancing INTERPOL’s global role as a hub of law enforcement innovation and training. The incumbent provides strategic direction on the identification and adoption of transformative technologies—such as AI, digital forensics, and data analytics—guiding INTERPOL’s innovation agenda and fostering strong partnerships, particularly through the Global Complex for Innovation in Singapore. They lead awareness campaigns, oversee pilot projects, and develop frameworks to support ethical and effective tech integration across member countries.
In parallel, the role oversees the global capacity building and training strategy, including the development of best practices, standardized curricula, and remote learning tools. The incumbent directs the INTERPOL Global Academy Network and supports donor engagement to expand impact. Additionally, they manage organizational planning, resources, and representation, serving as INTERPOL’s senior official in Singapore and ensuring high-level engagement with national authorities when required.
