The Opportunity We’re looking for a SOC Engineer to join our Cyber Defence team and play a key role in protecting EDF UK’s critical systems and data. Your work will help us deliver secure services and support An Electric Britain on its journey to net zero. This is a hybrid role working from home and occassionally attending either our Gloucester, London, Hove or Doxford office with a salary of £60,000 (DOE). You’ll collaborate with IT teams and security specialists to configure and manage our SIEM platform, onboard log sources, and optimise detection capabilities. You’ll also maintain dashboards to ensure visibility across the SOC. Who You Are You’ll bring experience and expertise in: Designing and configuring SIEM and SOAR platforms, ideally Azure Sentinel Supporting EDR in a Microsoft 365 environment Integrating security systems such as EDR, IPS, and firewalls with SOC and SIEM Deploying cloud platforms using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines Communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders You’ll also understand cyber incident response, NIST domains, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
